Spring Clean Up 2006

PALACIOS, TX, March 29, 2006 - Doing their
part in a spring cleanup effort along the Tres Palacios Watershed
on March 25 were these Palacios youngsters and their adult leaders.
The youngsters, representing East Side Intermediate and the Boys & Girls
Club-Palacios, took part in the event that was organized by the
Science & Spanish Club Network. Along with cleaning up and
cataloging debris along a dead-end road near the Texas Marine
Education Center, the volunteers cleaned up the area near a broken
bridge on the Tres Palacios River. At noon, all the volunteers
converged on Carl Park for an appreciation BBQ lunch. (Palacios
